Job Description

What you can expect

  • Maintain full accountability for branch profit and loss performance while executing financial planning, budgeting, and compliance strategies.
  • Oversee branch operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial performance, and service excellence.
  • Manage credit and accounts receivable to balance financial risk with sales growth.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through leadership, strategic adjustments, and operational excellence.
  • Lead personnel management, including recruitment, performance evaluations, training, and professional development.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by managing support operations and refining service methodologies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures that align with corporate standards and regulations.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic account management, business development, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Strengthen client relationships by developing tailored logistics solutions and introducing innovative service offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities via prospecting, lead qualification, and market expansion efforts.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activities, providing intelligence reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Optimize pricing structures, cost components, and profit margins to maximize deal value.
  • Prepare and present performance analyses, ensuring targets and forecasts are met.
  • Develop sales presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral while overseeing seamless implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance sales, service, and operational processes.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as directed to support organizational objectives.

What you bring

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive management experience in sales and customer service leadership roles, with specific expertise in freight forwarding or third-party logistics operations
  • Demonstrated track record of successful sales performance and business development within the transportation and logistics industry
  • Extensive experience in ocean and air freight sales channels, including rate negotiation, service contracting, and solution development
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and extensive industry experience
  • Proven ability to develop compelling sales proposals, implement standardized operating procedures, and create effective business documentation
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills with emphasis on consultative selling and long-term account development
  • Collaborative leadership style with demonstrated success working across functional boundaries and effectively engaging with all levels of organizational management
  • Proficient in prioritizing multiple high-value initiatives while maintaining composure and decision quality under significant time constraints
  • Established management capabilities including team leadership, performance coaching, and workflow optimization
  • Effective training and development skills with ability to transfer knowledge and build organizational capabilities
  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments requiring adaptability and quick decision-making
  • Experienced in leveraging performance metrics and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and team accountability
  • Fluent professional English communication skills (written, verbal, and comprehension) required; proficiency in additional languages highly advantageous
