As the Product Manager - Tariff & Quotation Airfreight, you will be the interface between the global Airfreight team, Tender Management team as well as all Rhenus countries with their Country Tariff Specialists (CTS). Together with them, you will develop strategies to create competitive tariffs for all charges including main haul, local charges (origin & destination), and pre- & on-carriage charges (trucking; pick-up, and delivery) across the global Rhenus network.

What you can expect

You will understand and break down complex tariff structures of each country of the global Rhenus network.
Additionally, you will develop and implement strategies to create competitive tariffs for various charges in collaboration with the global airfreight team.
You will work closely with the Country Tariff Specialists (CTS) to create individual tariffs required for a smooth quotation, invoicing, and tender process and providing guidance on special features.
Furthermore, you will ensure the timely and accurate upload of the created tariffs in the in-house developed tariff management application RheQuote.
Last but not least, you will create KPIs to evaluate the tariff quality, implement improvements with country management, perform benchmark with tools such as WorldACD and TAC Index and optimize the usability and connectivity of the tools with other systems.

You have already gained experience in airfreight logistics with comprehensive knowledge of operations, sales, tariff structures, and charging mechanisms.
You are able to manage large-scale projects in a structured manner and coordinate with international teams.
Friends would describe you as a team player, with an outgoing personality and well-developed communication skills.
You are service-minded and capable of handling responsibilities without needing to be micromanaged. In addition, you have strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Naturally, you are able to communicate well in English, both spoken and written.
