Pulp and paper products are highly sensitive items. These goods must be handled with care and protected from the weather during transport, transshipment and storage. This is done by using halls which extend past the end of the quay out over the water or roofed handling facilities at our port.

Paper rolls and pulp bales are loaded and unloaded at Rhenus ports by means of cranes, forklifts or Mafi trailers. Transshipment is performed with the greatest level of care and caution. At our port location, we have halls that extend up to the edge of the quay or over the port railroad track so that loading and unloading can be carried out regardless of the weather.
