First, the goods are picked up from the sender and then transported to the transshipment warehouse. There, the goods are then sorted according to certain factors such as size, weight, destination and delivery date and assigned to the individual tours. The loaded vehicles then take the goods to the nearest transshipment warehouse, where the consolidated load is then split up again and delivered to the destination.
FTL (full truckload) refers to a full load that fills a truck to its full capacity. With LTL (less-than-truckload), the truck is only partially filled. In this case, it makes sense to transport further LTL freight in one load in order to fully utilize the transport capacity and thus to transport goods in the most resource-friendly and cost-efficient way possible. The difference between LTL and groupage transport is that LTL freight is not transshipped, but rather the tours include the various loading and unloading points, which are then approached directly.
The delivery times vary depending on the destination. You can calculate the shipment with the help of Instant Quotation . The respective delivery times are then displayed directly.
