As part of a reorganisation of its logistics business in France, elm.leblanc Bosch Thermotechnologie has decided to outsource its warehousing and distribution logistics in the Paris region. The service provider is also responsible for managing downstream transport and customer returns. The Châtres site in the Seine-et-Marne region near Paris was chosen thanks to its ideal location as a central hub for transporting elm.leblanc Bosch Thermotechnologie’s finished goods to its main
customers in France.
“In the integrated logistics services offered by Rhenus, we particularly appreciated its logistics expertise in our business sector, with relevant and long-standing clients, as well as the provision of IT tools such as the Satellite control tower and multiple interfaces with our SAP system, ensuring real-time visibility over inventory movements and transport”, commented Séverin de Pommery, Supply Chain Director at elm.leblanc Bosch Thermotechnologie.
This new location strengthens the Rhenus positioning in the Paris region. Thanks to its additional storage capacity, Rhenus is able to offer immediately available space in a market under pressure. “Together with Julien Benoît, who was in charge of this project, we drew on our extensive expertise in the heating and airconditioning sector to provide a relevant and comprehensive offer. As such, we are contributing to revenue growth in France and are strengthening the regional network of our warehousing offer in the Paris region”, explained Mercedes Ortiz Garcia, Business Development Director at Rhenus Logistics France.
