Safe arrivals with high-tech logistics

Transporting and installing fast-charging stations is a logistical challenge. The sensitive devices weigh up to 1,500 kilograms and must be anchored securely to the foundation. To accomplish this task, we work with you to plan the appropriate logistics solution – from pre-carriage to commissioning, if desired. With special vehicles, crane technology and trained personnel, we are well prepared for every step of the transport chain.

Step by step to your destination

  • Pre-collection: Thanks to our extensive network in Europe, we can pick up your charging stations wherever they are located – at the manufacturer’s or the supplier’s premises. They are then taken to the nearest delivery location.
  • Warehousing and order picking: The e-chargers are stored in our multiuser warehouses until they are delivered. There they are optimally protected and always ready for delivery to the customer.
  • Advance planning: Each special delivery has its own special features and challenges. Thanks to our many years of practical experience, our central customer service ensures that the delivery can be planned in the best possible way, e.g. by knowing the ground conditions at the destination. We coordinate the various trades and ensure that the required vehicles, teams, crane equipment and electrical systems are in the right place at the right time.
  • Delivery: You decide whether the charging stations should be delivered to your location or to the place of use. No matter what you decide, the e-charging stations will be transported in a special fleet of trucks. The interior of these vehicles is padded and therefore particularly safe. The vehicles are also equipped with hydraulic lifting platforms to ensure that the heavy e-chargers can be loaded and unloaded safely. When delivered to the installation site, the e-charging station is transported to the foundation.
  • Assembly and electrical installation: Our comprehensive logistics approach also includes the assembly of the e-charging station on the foundation. With the help of our A-frame crane, we place the e-chargers on the foundation safely and with pinpoint precision, where they are then bolted and anchored. During installation, our assembly teams also feed in the power cable, which has already been cut to length.
  • Commissioning: Our certified partner and electrical experts connect the e-chargers to the power grid. Your advantage: we coordinate all work from delivery to functional testing. This is how we avoid interface issues and delays on the construction site. 
  • Returns management: If a charger fails and has to be returned, we take back the e-charger that has been disconnected from the grid and replace it with a replacement charging station.

Frequently asked questions

Before the planned installation, detailed planning takes place, which is essential for the project to be successful. This includes coordinating the conditions at the point of use, scheduling vehicles and delivery teams, and coordinating crane equipment and electricians.

The choice is yours: the chargers can either be delivered free to the door or free to the point of use. If you wish, we can also check the conditions on-site by means of a pre-inspection. 

Before collection, the charging station must be disconnected from the power supply and the collection location must be made freely accessible to us.

Manual installation of an e-charging station takes about two to three hours.
