New vehicles are stored at the terminal until they are loaded onto the short sea vessel using the RoRo method.

Liquid chemicals are stored on pallets in drums or IBC containers.

CUT WOODS

Waste wood from the side cut of the awn tree trunks is chopped up and reused either materially or thermally.

SIFTED WOOD CHIPS

This product is mainly processed into compost and for earthworks. It is also used to mix in bark mulch and potting soil.

GATE CHIPS WOTH COARSE PARTS

These products arise, among other things, when pallet-woods are cut to size and must be pre-screened for further processing. Then these chips are used in the chipboard industry, pellet industry, as bedding or for other purposes.

GRAIN STORAGE

Grain is stored and transshipped at the Rhenus port, protected from the weather.

HANDLING OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

Fertilisers are packaged at our terminals and loaded onto a truck.

STORAGE OF FERTILISERS

Fertilisers are stowed dry and securely in the Rhenus warehouse until they are transported further.

At a number of locations, we professionally store your recyclables until they can be brought to their plae of use in a multimodal way.

RECYCLING TRANSPORTS WITH RHENUS

Recyclable materials such as PET are packed unto manageable units. Such as bales, and can thus be stored and transported efficiently.

BULK MATERIAL HANDLING

Bulk materials such as sand, gravel and cement are stored and loaded at our locations and transported from there to their place of use worldwide.

STORAGE OF SAND AND GRAVEL

At many of our locatiomns - such as the Rhenus ports - bulk materials such as sand and gravel can be stored separately outdoors. This enables buried-free transhipment to the appropriate means of transport.
