The new Rhenus facility measures 35,000 square metres including a mezzanine of 3,200 square metres. This will expand the company’s warehousing capacity in just Eindhoven to nearly 150,000 square metres. The additional premises are an answer to the ever-growing demand from customers in the medical device, high-tech and machinery and industrial sectors.
The Eindhoven locations have grown, together with its customers, to become a pivotal logistics hub for medical device and high-tech products in the global logistics provider’s network.
The building obtained a BREEAM Outstanding certificate with a preliminary score of 90.29 percent, will be fully electric and has been fitted with 7,924 solar panels.
