The global specialist for warehousing logistics will showcase its most advanced storage as well as value-added solutions and services to manufacturers and suppliers in the sector at this fair.
This exhibition gives Rhenus an additional opportunity to strengthen its position in the aeronautics and defence sectors, and to offer both industries its knowledge and experience accumulated over two decades. In addition to warehousing, the company provides other services such as supply chain management, procurement, reverse logistics, and spare parts logistics.
At the beginning of 2020, Rhenus acquired the Spanish company LTK, which specialises in providing logistics services for the aviation business. The operation represented an enormous boost for the company in this sector. Rhenus Warehousing Solutions has many years of experience in the aerospace sector, as proven by developing relationships with well-known customers such as Airbus. The company has been providing warehousing and value-added services for Airbus factories in Cadiz and Seville for 20 years. The aircraft manufacturer has entrusted Rhenus Warehousing Solutions with the production logistics of aircraft such as the C295 LTA, A-400M, Tiger helicopter and NH90. The warehousing specialist also recently obtained the logistics contract for the new Falcon 10X business jet in southern Spain from the Aerohub in Seville, the logistics centre developed by Rhenus for Airbus in Spain.
"Feindef is an excellent opportunity to continue engaging with the sector and to position Rhenus not only as a logistics leader but also as a strategic partner for the aeronautics and defence industries. It is the perfect setting to showcase our capabilities and the value proposition we offer to industries that require complex logistics and a high degree of precision in storage," says Julio Sáez, Business Development Director of Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Spain.
