The Rhenus Group offers a central transshipment point in Basel for the supply of essential goods to Switzerland by waterway, for example, bulk goods such as grain or general cargo.
Our versatile port in Bremen, with several terminals for bulk goods, piece goods and project loads, and specializing in steel products such as coils, is part of our port network. This location impresses with its optimal trimodal connection for seamless logistics.
Our modern multipurpose port in Cuxhaven is suitable for the transport and handling of wind turbines, RoRo such as vehicles and trailers, containers and general cargo, among other things. Located at the mouth of the Elbe, Cuxhaven has numerous liner services.
Two high-performance terminals for containers, bulk and general cargo, heavy cargo or RoRo shipments are located here. Allowing for a draft of up to 14.10 meters, the terminals are suitable for large ships.
The bulk transshipment terminal in Hanau is located in close proximity to the Frankfurt/Main metropolitan area and specializes, among other things, in the transshipment and intermediate storage of hazardous and nonhazardous waste, as well as building materials and recycled materials.
Located in the middle of the 3,500-kilometer-long Rhine-Main-Danube waterway, the Rhenus Danube port of Krems is the ideal trimodal logistics location for Central Europe. It features an agricultural terminal, 350,000 square meters of storage space and a modern container freight station.
In the Rhine-Neckar region, Rhenus has six locations with several terminals that cover a wide range of goods, from vehicles to bulk goods and general cargo.
The region has 11 multipurpose port terminals, including the Green Steel Logistics Hub in Dortmund for low-emission steel transshipment.
