Rhenus Certified AEOC in Italy, Strengthening Compliance and Efficiency for its Air & Ocean Services

Rhenus has attained the Authorized Economic Operator Customs (AEOC) certification for its Air & Ocean services in Italy, marking an important milestone in its commitment to customs compliance, effective record management, and financial responsibility. This certification is part of a broader effort by Rhenus to meet high operational standards across its global services, in line with its quality and sustainability goals.

The AEOC certification, granted by the Italian Customs Agency, is awarded to companies that meet a series of rigorous criteria essential for operating in international trade. These include a robust compliance with customs and tax regulations, an effective system for managing commercial and transport records, financial solvency, and appropriate practical standards of professional competence. With this certification, Rhenus can offer customers streamlined customs procedures and improved trade efficiency, reinforcing its commitment to regulatory compliance.

In 2023, the Air & Ocean Division across the Group successfully completed the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification Audit according to ISO 14064-1:2018, demonstrating its dedication to environmental responsibility. At the Group level, Rhenus has also been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Standard.
