Our concept: From the depot, Rhenus transports the goods during the low-traffic period to the micro-depot on the outskirts of the city using a drawbar with four pre-loaded transport boxes. The smaller delivery vehicles simply pick up the boxes like a pre-packed rucksack to bring the consignments to the recipients in the city centre.

After an extensive field test, Rhenus is implementing this project in the Home Delivery segment in Berlin’s Westhafen district with e-vehicles.
